Threshold Training App

Connect with Strava to analyse your Norwegian Singles Approach (NSA) intervals. The app checks whether your pace falls within the suggested band for each interval (based on your most recent race) and checks your average heart rate over the last 1, 2, or 3 minutes of each interval to show whether you achieved the intended intensity.

Connect via Strava

NOTE: On the Strava connect screens, “View data about your private activities” needs to be ticked.Without this, the app can’t fetch lap and heart rate data for analysis.

We never post to Strava, and your data isn’t stored anywhere. It’s only kept temporarily while being analysed.

How it helps

  • Strips out warm-ups, cool-downs and recoveries so you see only your NSA intervals
  • Compares your interval pace with target ranges based on your latest race
  • Provides end-of-interval heart rate averages so you can judge whether the effort was too hard or not
  • Gives you simple, mobile-friendly feedback right after training
